10 Effective Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks





Stretch marks are nothing but pale-colored sort of shiny lines on the surface of your skin. Apply freshly removed aloe vera gel from aloe vera leaves to your stretch marks. Slit open the leaves, and take it out as per your need. Let it sit for 15 minutes then rinse it off with lukewarm water. You can use this remedy every alternate day.

It’s an item, easily available. Massage vicks to the stretch mark(s) affected area for 2-3 minutes. Then cover it with cling wrap and leave overnight (Note: make sure to not cling wrap very tightly over your skin as it can disrupt the blood flow under your skin). You can try doing this every night till the stretch marks fade away.

  1. Castor Oil

 

Slightly warm your castor oil and massage it over your stretch marks for 15-20 minutes before going to bed and leave it overnight. Doing this every night will give you noticeable results of marks fading away.

Massage lukewarm extra virgin olive oil on your stretch marks affected area for a few minutes and leave it on without washing it off. Do this twice a day regularly for effective results.

  1. Coffee

 

Mix a generous amount of coffee powder to a little bit of water to make a nice thick paste. Massage it over your stretch lines in circular motions for a few minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water and moisturize your skin to prevent your skin from drying.

Mix 1 tbsp of sugar with few drops of olive oil thoroughly with few drops of lemon juice. Apply this scrub over your skin for 8-10 minutes. Then rinse off with lukewarm water and moisturize well.

Mix 1 tbsp turmeric with 1 tbsp of fresh cream or yogurt and apply this paste over your stretch marks properly. Let it stay for 15-20 mins, then rinse it off with lukewarm water and use a moisturizer to prevent drying.

  1. Apple cider vinegar

 

Fill a spray bottle with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and spray it on to your stretch marks carefully, try avoiding mess and let it air dry. If you want you can do this before going to bed for convenience. Wash thoroughly next morning and moisturize your skin.

  1. Lemon juice

 

This could be the easiest among the easy remedies to get rid of your stretch marks. Just take 1-2 tbsp of lemon juice and apply in circular motions. Let your skin absorb all the lemon goodness for about 10 mins. Rinse with lukewarm water and apply a moisturiser after.


  1. Baby oil

 

After coming out of a hot shower, pat your skin dry and apply baby oil to your stretch marks. Massage well for a good amount of time till your skin absorbs the oil and leave it just like that, this will not only help your skin be marks free but also be moisturized well.
